Automobile.com is an online everything related automobile directory and enthusiast site. Automobiles message had to be simple, strong and effective but with a certain performance/edgy flare.
After 80 different proposed icons, marks and typographic solutions the two teams narrowed it down to 3 contenders. From those three both teams concluded that this was it!!
Once the Automobile mark was established we decided that there would be a need to perform more illustrative variations of the mark. This will be used to enhance marketing materials.

With delicate hints of embossed treatments, foils, varnishes and custom di-cuts this stationary system truly became a work of art. Primary goal achieved. An alluring focal piece for new advertising prospects.

Once the new I.D. was set into position the web development seemed to evolve in a very organic fashion. High tech, smooth, elegant, and tuff describes the new look and feel of Automobile.com’s web development.
Some 88 categories and over 250 different page layouts and designs where created for the massive web development.
Multiple marketing pieces where created in re-positioning Automobile’s slick new look. This example shows a custom calendar contest positioned with co-branding Ford Mustang.
