Originating in the '60s as a surfboard label, Ocean Pacific (Op) Founder Jim Jenks created an apparel line in 1972. In 2003 OP came to Ex to create a look that would capture tomorrows action sport youth.
The goal was to provide graphic collages that would act as a foundation and guideline for the artists within OP. From these examples the stage would be set for the seasons up coming apparel line.
These collages where put together by Chris Selter (Director and Founder) of ExCreative. Combinations of mixed medias where used to create these piece
Ultimately there came to be over 25 different pieces all unique in there own way.
Once each piece was scanned and handed over to OP, a workbook was created and distributed out to each artists, freelance professional, and reseller programs.
